Our Mission
Breathe 4 Trees is an organization committed to achieving environmental sustainability through tree planting initiatives. Our proposed project aims to expand our impact within the West Valley areas of the State of Utah by increasing tree planting and promoting diversity and inclusion in our programs, particularly communities of color. This proposal outlines a comprehensive project plan, budget, and impact assessment to achieve these goals while highlighting our efforts to grasp, express and nurture the connection between nature and human well-being through solutions benefiting both our community and the natural environment of Utah.
Our Programs
Our community-based tree planting events are designed to do more than just enhance the environment—they bring people together in a shared, meaningful effort. By participating, residents strengthen bonds, creating a greater sense of unity and belonging. These events provide an opportunity for individuals to connect, work side by side, and contribute to a healthier, greener community. Together, we’re not only planting trees but also cultivating a stronger, more resilient community for everyone.

Environmental Impact:
Planting trees has a significant environmental impact. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, helping combat climate change, and release oxygen, improving air quality. They reduce urban heat by providing shade, prevent soil erosion, and support biodiversity by offering habitats for wildlife, enhancing overall ecosystem health.
Community Engagement:
- Tree planting in West Valley and Salt Lake City builds community, improves mental health, and benefits the environment. Planting trees together reduces stress, eases isolation, and enhances air quality, shade, and neighborhood beauty, making Salt Lake City healthier and more resilient.
